On June 11, 2024, at approximately 10:30 p.m., 39-year-old Leon Anderson was fatally shot inside his girlfriend's apartment near Highway 61 and Mexico Road in Wentzville, Missouri. The incident occurred after Anderson confronted 31-year-old Carlos Hood, who had been dating Anderson's girlfriend for about a week. According to reports, Anderson entered the apartment through a bedroom window, leading to a confrontation that resulted in Hood shooting Anderson.
