Death by Force

Ruben Roderic Martinez, a 26-year-old resident of Wentzville, Missouri, was found dead on March 27, 2016, under suspicious circumstances. His body was discovered by firefighters responding to a house fire at around 1:30 AM in the 500 block of South Walnut. The Major Case Squad was activated to investigate the incident, as the circumstances surrounding his death were deemed suspicious. Martinez's body was found inside the burning home, and two dogs were also rescued from the property.
