On July 15, 2023, at approximately 8:51 a.m., Hackensack Police responded to a 911 call from CareOne at Wellington, a nursing facility located at 301 Union Street in Hackensack, New Jersey. Upon arrival, officers discovered 72-year-old Patricia Ann Zaccario and her husband, 75-year-old Michael Zaccario, both residents of Wood-Ridge, deceased with apparent gunshot wounds.
