In the early morning hours of October 4, 2014, the life of 22-year-old Craig Corley was tragically cut short in Savannah, Georgia. He was found deceased from a gunshot wound outside the Live Oak Plantation apartments. His mother, an emergency room nurse accustomed to the grim realities of violence, received the devastating call shortly before 6:30 a.m., learning that her son had died at the scene before any medical intervention could be attempted.
