On a late spring evening in Dublin, Virginia, the life of 25-year-old Ashley Nicole Ray came to a tragic end. On May 30, 2023, authorities responded to a report of multiple gunshots at a residence on Wilderness Road. Inside, they discovered the bodies of Ashley, a female, and 27-year-old Jimmy Ray Brewer III. Both had sustained fatal gunshot wounds and were pronounced deceased at the scene.
