A'shoneya Tarashnik Rashayla Williams, a 21-year-old resident of Smithfield, Virginia, tragically lost her life on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. She was found dead alongside her boyfriend, Kyonne Edwards, 22, in their apartment at Jersey Park Apartments in Smithfield. Both victims had been shot to death, marking a somber event that Smithfield Police Chief Alonzo Howell described as the town's first known double homicide.
