Jadakuis Tysean Mitchell, a 23-year-old resident of Martinsville, Virginia, tragically lost his life on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. The incident occurred in Fieldale, Virginia, when the Martinsville-Henry County Dispatch received a call at 4:45 PM about a man who had been shot on Tenth Street. Upon arrival at the scene, deputies found Mitchell with an apparent gunshot wound to his chest. He was immediately transported to Sovah Health, where he was later pronounced dead.
