He was a man who loved to reminisce about his life, from drag racing to spending quality time with his loved ones. He was especially proud of his children and grandchildren, often speaking of them with great affection. His sudden and violent death left his family, including his children, grandchildren, and a brother, to mourn his loss.
The Accomack County Sheriff's Office, with assistance from the Virginia State Police, Parksley Volunteer Fire Department, and the Accomack County Department of Public Safety, immediately launched an investigation into the shooting. Authorities have not released information about a possible motive or any potential suspects in the case.
