In the early afternoon of a Monday in North Charleston, South Carolina, the life of 22-year-old Darion Jarmal Johnson was tragically cut short. On March 6, 2023, patrol officers responded to a call of shots fired at a shopping center located in the 5000 block of Rivers Avenue. Upon their arrival at approximately 12:40 p.m., they discovered a man on the ground in the parking lot who had sustained fatal injuries.
