On September 12, 2023, 26-year-old Jamiree Datravious "Tray" McCrorey was fatally shot near Old Winnsboro Road and Tanglewood Road in southeastern Chester County, South Carolina, an area between Great Falls and Blackstock. The Chester County Sheriff's Office responded to the incident, and McCrorey was pronounced dead at the scene.
