On June 1, 2016, 34-year-old Shahriar Zolfaghari, a Lyft driver and the husband of Georgia Assistant Attorney General Camila Wright, was tragically shot and killed while working in Atlanta. His body was discovered at an intersection in northeast Atlanta after witnesses noticed his car not moving at a green light. When they approached the vehicle, they found Zolfaghari unresponsive and bleeding from gunshot wounds.
