In the early morning hours of June 26, 2024, the life of 27-year-old Cody McDonald, a White/Caucasian male, was cut short in his Summerville, South Carolina, home. Responding to a call about a shooting at approximately 3 a.m., deputies from the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office arrived at the Cone Lane residence to a grim scene.
