On July 7, 2024, Montell Bell, a 47-year-old resident of Ehrhardt, South Carolina, was tragically shot and killed. The incident occurred in Ehrhardt, where a woman was also shot and injured during the same event. Bell was transported to Prisma Health Richland in Columbia for treatment, but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
