In a case that left a community searching for answers, 38-year-old Jamell Reggie Carter, a Black/African American male from Ehrhardt, South Carolina, was found deceased on January 4, 2019. His body, along with that of 35-year-old Janis Quintero Natos, was discovered in the serene setting of Rivers Bridge State Park in Bamberg County.
