In the quiet woods near Flat Rock Road in Kershaw County, South Carolina, a day of hunting turned into a tragedy that ended the life of 25-year-old Dalton Troy Jordan. The young man, a resident of Elgin, was reported missing on Saturday, November 2, 2024. A search by his family and friends ended in heartbreak when they discovered his body around 3 p.m. First responders were called to the scene, but nothing could be done; Jordan was pronounced dead from an apparent gunshot wound.
