On November 6, 2023, John Henry Taylor, a 70-year-old resident of Benoit, Mississippi, was tragically shot and killed. Authorities responded to the scene where they discovered Taylor had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead shortly after their arrival. The motive behind the shooting remains unclear, and as of now, no arrests have been made in connection with his death.
