On November 25, 2023, 25-year-old D'Andre "Peanut" Lamond Ducksworth was fatally shot alongside 27-year-old Reshun "Goon" Goudy during an alleged dogfighting event on Jones Chapel Road, between Collins and Taylorsville, Mississippi. The two men were transported by private vehicle to Covington County Hospital around midnight, where they were pronounced dead at approximately 12:40 a.m.
