On December 2, 2023, Gauge Chancellor, an 11-year-old boy from Ovett, Mississippi, was tragically shot. He passed away three days later on December 5, 2023, at the age of 11. Gauge, whose full name was Browning Gauge Chancellor, was born on July 19, 2012, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
