On January 5, 2024, at approximately 9:50 p.m., the Tunica County Sheriff's Office in Mississippi received a 911 call reporting that a juvenile had sought help from a neighbor, stating that their mother had been shot inside their apartment at 2669 Kirby Road in Robinsonville.
