In the early evening of February 5, 2024, tragedy struck in McComb, Mississippi, when 20-year-old Andra Cotton was fatally shot. The incident, which also left 18-year-old Brandon Celestine with a gunshot wound to his hand, unfolded at a residence on Avenue D. Cotton succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds at the scene.

The investigation into the shooting led law enforcement to identify two teenage suspects: 17-year-old Ladarius Magee and 17-year-old Bryson Brumfield. Magee was apprehended an ...
