On May 22, 2024, 69-year-old Henry Dyer Jr. was found unresponsive on the side of First West Street North in Woodville, Mississippi. Emergency responders attempted life-saving measures, but Dyer was pronounced dead at the scene.

This incident was one of four homicides that occurred in Woodville, a town with a population of less than 1,000, during the month of May 2024. The other homicides took place on April 26, May 18, and May 25, with three of the four occurring on First West Street. ...Read More
