On September 1, 2024, Jerry Stewart, aged 58, was found deceased from apparent gunshot wounds at a residence on Walker Road in the Vaughan community of Yazoo County, Mississippi. The incident, which occurred around 9:38 p.m., also resulted in the deaths of two other individuals: Benny Simmons and Mary Simmons.
