In the quiet community of Vaughan, Mississippi, a tragic event unfolded on the evening of September 1, 2024, ending the life of Benny Terrell Simmons. He was 38 years old. The incident, which took place at a residence on Walker Road, also claimed the lives of his mother, Mary Lee Simmons, and another man, Jerry Walker. Yazoo County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 9:38 p.m. and discovered the three victims, all deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.
