In the small town of Webb, Mississippi, the evening of November 7, 2024, was shattered by the sound of gunfire. When the echoes faded, a 33-year-old Black man named Kenderrick Gaston lay dead. A resident of nearby Tutwiler, Gaston was found near the corner of East Main and North Cree streets with what appeared to be a single gunshot wound to his upper torso. The Tallahatchie County Coroner pronounced him dead at the scene.
