In a tragic turn of events on a summer evening, 61-year-old Jerry Longacre of Sturgis, Michigan, was killed in a double homicide that also claimed the life of 39-year-old Stacy Ramsey on August 5, 2023.
The suspected perpetrator, 30-year-old David Algarin Jr., is believed to have shot and killed both victims at two separate locations in the Sturgis area. Authorities have not yet determined a clear motive for the slayings.
