Luke James Botica, a 28-year-old resident of Niles, Michigan, was tragically shot and killed on September 30, 2023. The incident occurred at his home on North 12th Street, where he was found with a single gunshot wound to the head. Emergency responders arrived shortly after the incident was reported, but despite their efforts, Botica succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter at Corewell Hospital in Niles.
