In the late hours of September 30, 2023, a dispute ended in the tragic death of 28-year-old Luke James Botica in his home on North 12th Street in Niles, Michigan. Botica, a male, was shot and killed during an argument with another man. Responding to a call about a shooting, police discovered Botica with a gunshot wound to his head.
