On October 15, 2023, Phebian Williams, a 53-year-old resident of Detroit, Michigan, was fatally shot during a baby shower in the 15600 block of Edmore Drive. The incident occurred amidst an argument involving Williams and another attendee. Shawanda Woods, a 44-year-old woman from Ypsilanti, has been charged with the shooting.
