On June 28, 2024, at approximately 5:30 p.m., a tragic incident occurred at Metro Studios Ink, a tattoo shop located in the 100 block of West Grand River Avenue in Howell, Michigan. Sean Michael Thompson, a 46-year-old resident of Howell, was shot and killed inside the business.
