Donald Virgil, a 51-year-old man, was found strangled to death on October 7, 1985, inside his mobile home in Pinellas Park, Florida. In an apparent attempt to cover up the crime, a fire had been set at his residence. Virgil, who lived alone and did not drive, was known to frequent bars in the local area near Haines Road.
