On July 1, 2023, David Joseph Octavec, aged 70, was tragically shot and killed in Pylesville, Maryland, along with his brother-in-law Timothy Wayne Witherite, who was 62 years old. The incident occurred around 8:49 PM at their residence on Scott Road. Upon arrival, deputies from the Harford County Sheriff’s Office found both men suffering from gunshot wounds.
