On May 5, 2024, at approximately 10:39 p.m., a tragic incident occurred in Baltimore, Maryland, resulting in the death of 33-year-old Lavontay Bishop. The shooting took place in the 1000 block of Leadenhall Street, where officers responded to reports of gunfire.
Upon arrival, police found Bishop suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to an area hospital for treatment. Despite medical efforts, Lavontay Bishop was pronounced dead shortly after.
