On October 24, 2024, at approximately 3:08 a.m., Baltimore Police officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 700 block of East 20th Street. Upon arrival, they discovered 30-year-old Artez Antonio Collins suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Medics transported Collins to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced deceased shortly thereafter.
