King Golden III, aged 40, was found dead on February 13, 1997, in Winter Garden, Florida. His body was discovered by a tow truck driver who was removing an abandoned vehicle from the parking lot of the Country Garden Apartments, located at 15138 West Colonial Drive. The body was found inside the trunk of the vehicle, and it was later identified as King Golden III, who was also listed as a co-owner of the vehicle.
