On February 21, 2023, Barry Lemont Richardson Jr., a 26-year-old resident of Pocola, Oklahoma, tragically lost his life in a shooting incident. The Pocola Police Department responded to reports of a shooting near the intersection of Butler Avenue and Clark Avenue at approximately 1:30 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Richardson with a gunshot wound.
