On November 13, 2023, at approximately 9:40 PM, 16-year-old Markus Stephen Scott was found dead along the roadside near U.S. Highway 60 and State Highway 123 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Scott had been shot multiple times in the torso and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical workers.
