In the early morning hours of April 9, 2024, the sound of gunshots shattered the peace near an apartment complex at 905 N. Rockwell in Oklahoma City. Responding to the disturbance, police officers discovered 22-year-old Koby Caraveo, a Black male, suffering from gunshot wounds. Paramedics were quickly summoned, and Caraveo was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries later that same day.
