On June 12, 2024, at approximately 1:42 p.m., deputies from the Okmulgee County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a deceased male lying in the roadway near North 100 Road and Highway 16, west of Beggs, Oklahoma. Upon arrival, they discovered the body of 39-year-old Allen Wright Jr., who had sustained gunshot wounds to the head and chest.
