Murdered

On May 15, 2023, 70-year-old Joseph Smith was found deceased from multiple gunshot wounds in his apartment at the Wisteria Walk Apartments in Lakewood, Washington. Another individual, 61-year-old Joseph Johnson, was also found dead at the scene with a gunshot wound to the chest. The Pierce County Medical Examiner's Office ruled both deaths as homicides.
