Brandy Escamilla, 29, and her fiancée Josilyn Ruiz, 26, both from Seattle, were tragically killed in a shooting incident at the Beyond Wonderland electronic dance music festival near the Gorge Amphitheatre in Quincy, Washington, on June 17, 2023. The couple, who were both nurses, had recently moved to Seattle's Ballard neighborhood and were attending the festival when the incident occurred.
