On October 17, 2023, Kennewick police discovered the bodies of 65-year-old Nabil Mohamed, his 63-year-old wife, Hifza Khan, and his 26-year-old son, Zuhaib Mohamed, inside their residence on South Dawes Street. The couple had been reported missing since September 22, 2023, prompting concerns from family members and leading to a missing persons investigation.
