Unikque Ramirez, a 15-year-old Hispanic female from Yakima, Washington, was shot and killed on the night of March 1, 2024. Officers were dispatched around 9:20 p.m. to McGuinness Park, in the area of North 14th Avenue and Swan Avenue, after reports of gunfire. They found the teenager fatally wounded, and the Yakima County Coroner later confirmed she died from a gunshot wound. Her identity and date of death were publicly noted in local reports and an obituary published the following week.
