On March 15, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Ellensburg, Washington, resulting in the death of 21-year-old Christian Guthrie. The shooting took place around 12:14 p.m. at the Jack in the Box restaurant located on the 100 block of West University Way, near Central Washington University. Ellensburg Police responded to reports of shots fired and found Guthrie inside a car with gunshot wounds.
