In the early morning hours of July 20, 2024, the life of 21-year-old Aidan Schmidt, a White Caucasian male, was tragically cut short on the Scott Pierson Trail in Tacoma, Washington. Just before 1:30 a.m., near South 19th Street and South Mullen Street, Schmidt was discovered with gunshot wounds to his chest and arm. Tacoma police officers who were dispatched to the scene performed life-saving measures until the Tacoma Fire Department arrived, but Schmidt ultimately succumbed to his injuries at ...
