Aidan Lee Schmidt, a 21-year-old man with no permanent address, tragically lost his life on July 20, 2024, in Tacoma, Washington. He was found fatally shot on the Scott Pierson Trail near South 19th Street and South Mullen Street in Central Tacoma. The Pierce County Medical Examiner's Office determined that Schmidt died from gunshot wounds to the chest and arm, and his manner of death was ruled a homicide.
