In the early morning hours of October 28, 2024, the life of 15-year-old Soloman Taylor, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in a shooting in Seattle's Central District. The incident occurred around 7:45 a.m. at the intersection of East Spring Street and 27th Avenue. Soloman, affectionately known as "Solo," was a freshman at Garfield High School.
