Family members disclosed that Mildred had been enduring a prolonged illness, which may have contributed to the tragic incident.
Mildred was born on March 22, 1948, in Monroe, Georgia. She was remembered for her vibrant personality and dedication to her family. Visitation and funeral services were held on February 25, 2023, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Glendale, Ohio, followed by interment at Vine Street Hill Cemetery.
Clarence Howell was a well-known small business owner in the Pleasant Ridge neighborhood of Cincinnati, operating a shoe repair shop for over a decade. Customers and community members expressed shock and sorrow upon learning of the couple's deaths, recalling Clarence's friendly demeanor and commitment to his craft.
