On June 3, 2023, at approximately 8:10 p.m., 19-year-old Bemetrius Hargrove was fatally shot in Cleveland's St. Clair-Superior neighborhood. According to police reports, Hargrove was standing in front of a residence on the 5700 block of Dibble Avenue with two acquaintances when a white vehicle with tinted windows approached. Two masked men exited the car and opened fire, striking Hargrove in the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
