Alex Gaines, a 32-year-old resident of Cleveland, Ohio, was shot and killed on June 10, 2023. The incident reportedly stemmed from a verbal altercation that escalated into violence. Witnesses indicated that Gaines had an argument with Deon Hudson-Bey, a 21-year-old suspect. Following the dispute, Hudson-Bey allegedly shot Gaines multiple times, resulting in severe injuries that led to Gaines's death shortly thereafter.
