On June 18, 2023, at approximately 5:25 a.m., Cincinnati police responded to reports of gunfire in the 5300 block of Bettman Avenue in Winton Hills. Upon arrival, officers discovered 34-year-old Earl Hunter suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead.
