On September 17, 2023, Bing Luan Lin, age 40, was tragically killed in a shooting incident in Bowling Green, Ohio. Lin was one of two victims who lost their lives in this event, with the other being identified as Zhichun Huang, 36. Both Lin and Huang were residents of Bowling Green and owners of the local restaurant Ninja Hibachi Sushi Steak House.
