He attended Cleveland Public Schools, graduating with his high school diploma. Known affectionately as "Dame," he was remembered for his pleasant and respectful demeanor. Funeral services were held on November 11, 2023, at Calhoun Funeral Home in Bedford Heights, Ohio.
